KTVX had a mobile unit at the County Court House in Fairvale, California when Norman Bates was arrested for the murders of Marion Crane and Milton Arbogast.

- KTVX is an actual television station. In fact, it signed-on as Utah's first television station in November 1946 under the experimental call sign W6XIS. It began broadcasting regularly on April 19, 1948. But the call letters of this station were not KTVX at that time.
